The beach itself is semi-sheltered and receives surf most of the year around, making it an ideal location to learn how to surf. During the summer months, Smiths Beach is patrolled by Surf Lifesaving volunteers.
Located just a short walk from the Grand Prix circuit, Smiths Beach is a popular location for guests visiting the track.
